Al Alma Café

Al Alma, cafe and restaurant,  has one of the most stunning settings for a breakfast or brunch in the Walled city. Situated at the second floor of a gorgeous republican building, at a corner of Baloco and Santo Domingo streets, this place is a dream! The architecture and decoration are part of the experience here: high ceilings, big fans, large wooden windows, plenty of plants, flooded with light… The essence of Caribbean style.
The menu has many options: from the traditional Colombian fried arepas with hogao, to the fanciest eggs benedict with salmon toasts, avocado slices and a mimosa cocktail. You can ask for the brunch for two, or pick anything in their extended list: salads, sandwiches, bowls… and enjoy the romantic ambiance while waiting for your food to be prepared.
Al alma opens from sunrise (8 AM) to sunset, with a rooftop to enjoy Cartagena’s views.
