La Fontana

After a day at the beach in Bocagrande, La Fontana is a great spot for a relaxed, authentic and excellent Italian dinner. Set just a block away from the beach in the Almirante Cartagena Hotel, it’s perfect for lunch or dinner and you don’t always need to book ahead. And if you head there in the evening, you’ll also find live music. 

Serving the kind of Italian food you’re probably craving – pastas, pizzas and a selection of fish and meat dishes – every dish is fresh and flavourful. If you were to ask us what to have, we’d have to say choose the carpaccio to start, followed by a seafood carbonara, which gets rave reviews every time and maybe a tiramisu for dessert… just make sure to visit after the beach!
